I turn data into decisions. After 18 years shaping young minds through music education and media, I retrained in Excel, Power BI, SQL and Python — and now bring that same discipline for detail and storytelling to data analytics.
From the classroom and studio to the dashboard
Rachel Godspower-Otali is a Data Analyst with a career built on nearly two decades of teaching, mentorship and media work. She holds an HND and ND in Music Technology from The Polytechnic Ibadan and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the University of Ibadan.
For 18 years she taught music education across several schools in Akure and Ibadan, coordinated choirs and cultural groups, and worked on script writing and camera operations during her NYSC year at the Nigerian Television Authority.
In 2024, she completed a Data Analysis certification at Selah Tech Academy and earned a SQL Associate certification from DataCamp in 2025. She now works as a Data Analytics Instructor at Wetin Dey Code Academy and as a Data Analyst Intern, applying Excel, Power BI, SQL and Python to real organisational problems.
Rachel is happily married and a proud mother of two boys.
